New-take-off door in as-new condition removed from a brand new bus/minibus straight from the factory – BARE, no door card, lock or internals.
We have both UK standard (left side door) and right side (offside UK, or LHD standard) variants in stock.
Transit minibus doors are also ideal for use in a camper conversion for letting loads of light in to the living area. Saves the massive hassle of fitting a custom window and gives a more factory look to your camper. Blinds, curtains and other accessories are also more readily available due to it being a factory window.
These doors will absolutely not fit a Transit ‘Custom’ vehicle unfortunately. Will also not fit MK8 models as they stand, due to the lock mount being different (otherwise they are the same door). If you can source a MK9 lock, this door could used on a MK8 Transit. We have also heard that it is possible to enlarge the cut-out and re-drill the holes for the locking mechanism area of the door to accept a MK8 lock but have not seen this done and it’s impossible for us to recommend this, do your own research!
Door measurements: 193cm high, 150cm wide. Please measure your existing door first!
Ford factory installed minibus window with light tint (something around 25%). These doors are completely bare internally, they have no protective stripping, no door card, no internals, no hinges and no lock and no interior or exterior handles. The foam strip you can see in the middle of the door on the photos is just to protect it during storage and is easily removed. We have hinges available but no other parts for these doors at all. Ideally you would transfer your existing door’s parts or source them online.
Finished in Ford’s standard metallic silver. Paint in excellent condition throughout.

We’ve got solid Transit MK9 doors in white, blue and metallic blue too. These silver doors are the only glazed ones we have though.
Collect only from our warehouse just North of Manchester. We cannot ship/deliver these due to the extremely high likelihood of damage occurring in transit particularly due to the large piece of glass. Check the bottom of the page for our address and directions but we are easily accessible from the majority of the UK, close to the end of the M66 motorway.
