Used condition 5xdog cage / kennel from Sprinter vans
From W906 high roof, long wheelbase models but will also fit W907 – high roof only but should fit all wheelbases based on our calculations. Ex-Police stock. Each unit fits 5 dogs. Featuring an exceptionally solid heavy-duty stainless steel frame construction with front and rear locking access doors and slide-out under tray. They have aluminium plates to sides, top, bottom and rear with stainless steel front doors and frame. Would be ideal for racing dogs, guard dogs, or a dog walker or dog show enthusiast. Would also make a good solid starting point for more plush transport or keep as it is.
In good used condition, a few marks and scrapes externally and some of the internal mats are damaged and will need replacing, probably something you would want to do anyway. I cannot express how solid the construction is, the units are very much over-built. Secure and padlock compatible door hardware suitable for up to 5 large dogs. Will bolt straight in to 906/907 models of Mercedes Sprinter with only minor drilling, no modification to wheel well required. No fixings included, but standard nuts and bolts available from any hardware store will work. Dedicated forklift points.
Dimensions
A diagram to show the sizing is now included here, check the gallery. The dimensions were measured from one of the units for sale personally and are as accurate as possible (+/-5mm). The kennels have been made to a very high standard and to an exact specification so I would assert that all of the units are all very close to these dimensions. You’re welcome to measure them yourself if it’s critically important but they all came out of Sprinter vans so will definitely fit back in to an unmodified one! Each individual cage is in the vicinity of 480mm(W) x 780mm(H) x 1120mm (D) – but the angled ones obviously measure slightly differently – they were designed for police dogs so are ideal for larger dogs but would be too small for a Great Dane for example.
Delivery?
Multiple in stock and available for immediate collection. Due to the significant size and weight of these, we would suggest a low-loader, flat-bed truck or large trailer with plenty of straps. Markings on the kennels state that they weigh 250kg, I cannot confirm if this is accurate. We can assist with our forklift to load the item on collection. We are not able to deliver these items nor organise delivery. If you are contacting a courier please ensure that they know the size and weight and loading constraints. As with everything we sell, we highly recommend collecting it yourself to avoid disappointment and hassle when the item is inevitably damaged in transit.
